Delete account & data
You can delete your HALO account at any time. Below is exactly how to do it, what gets removed, and what stays on (anonymised) so that other riders in your community keep their own history.
In the HALO app
Sign in, then: Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. You'll see a summary of what will be removed, then type DELETE to confirm. The app re-authenticates you (password or biometric) before the deletion runs.
Deletion is permanent. You can re-register later, but the previous data is gone.
What gets removed vs anonymised
Hard-deleted (gone from our systems):
- Your profile, photo, phone number, FCM tokens
- Driver licence + insurance documents (if any)
- Child profiles you created, and their consent records
- Cancelled or no-show ride records (6-month window)
Anonymised (your identity stripped, the record stays so other riders keep their own history intact):
- Completed ride records — anonymised in our retention sweep after 18 months
- Ratings you gave or received
- Resolved SOS incidents — anonymised after 36 months
- Audit log entries — hard-deleted after 36 months
Full retention table on the privacy policy.
If you can't access the app
Locked out? Lost your sign-in? Email us from the address registered on your account and we'll process the deletion manually.
tech@cpmentorship.orgWant a copy of your data before you delete? Settings → Privacy in the app also offers a JSON export of your profile, child profiles, ride history, ratings, and consent records (export link is good for 7 days).
